ANGELS AMONG US PET RESCUE NEEDS TO RAISE $1200 TO HELP JUSTIN REGAIN USE OF HIS LEG!!!!!
Justin Was Saved 30 Minutes before he was to get loaded back up and taken back to the shelter to be KILLED.
Last weekend at the Animal Rescue Fair in Alpharetta, Georgia, an announcement was made that Rockdale County had 7 dogs left that had not been adopted. Any dogs that went back to the shelter would be immediately euthanized as the shelter was totally full.
Many rescue organizations rushed over to see how they could help. But, Angels Among Us Pet Rescue decided to take a Black Lab with an obviously hurt left rear leg. At that point, our rescue decided we would do all we could for this sweet boy that deserved a second chance.
We named him Justin - because he was saved "Just in the Nicke of Time"! Justin went to the vet last week and it was determined that he needs FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery to regain use of the leg and to be able to function as a normal dog again.
The surgery is $1200.00 and we need help to raise this money to get Justin's surgery. Please Help Us, to Help Justin!!!!
Donations Can be made online at:
http://angelsamonguspetrescue.org/how-you-can-help.asp
Or you can mail a check or cash to:
Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, Inc.
PO Box 821
Alpharetta, GA 30009
We are also looking for a temporary foster home for Justing to rehabilitate in after his surgery - we need a quiet home without a lot of other pets and action going on. If you can provide a 2 - 3 month foster home for Justin, please email me at kamurphy39@ hotmail.com.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND HELP IN GETTING JUSTIN HIS MUCH NEEDED SURGERY.

Subject: Commerce, GA - URGENTS JRTX, White shepherds, SWEET ANIMALS
These animals only 5 days from their intake date... without an adopter or rescue they will be put down. They are housed a vet's office for a rural county and can be easily vetted out... $100 for dogs and $80 for cats. They house the animals for Jackson county animal control. animals can be held for a couple days after vetting but if boarding is needed I can recommend a couple of places. Please cross post to save them

Remember the big Mastiff mix that I sent you an email about yesterday? YoYo's time was running out. Lots of people helped. Thanks to the internet, a bunch of big-hearted animal-loving people got the word out through emails, twitter, facebook and other means.... YoYo has a new forever home! Yippee! As it turned out, it was one of my best friends, Ita Dore, who called late yesterday afternoon to say that she might be interested. She and her husband, Kirk, own a horse farm, the Towne Lake Equestrian Club in Woodstock (www.tleclub.com) , and so has a lot of room for a big, happy fellow like YoYo. Thanks Ita and Kirk for stepping forward and offering this beautiful creature a new life with your family. They plan to rename him Gumbeaux as Kirk is from Louisiana. Thanks Realtors For Pets family for helping to get the word out. Thanks Richard Stewart (www.saspet.com), Kristen Butler (www.HomesByTheAdvantageTeam.com), Pat Thomas, and Sharise Cunningham for letting us know about this handsome boy. Thanks to the owner for working hard to get YoYo a new home. Thanks Al Gore for inventing the internet. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________

When pet is found, contact Realtors for Pets with information regarding the pet type, location, and any specifics about the circumstances surrounding the pet.
This plan works as it has been successfully tested with a dog we named Hope.
A Real Estate agent found Hope left behind in a foreclosure home in Gwinnett County. They contacted Realtors for Pets (Kristin Butler) who obtained important information from the agent for rescue. Kristen then contacted us at Safe and Secure Pet Sitters and we made arrangements to immediately get food and water to the pet. We went directly to the home, and found Hope who was in pathetic shape. She was scared, starving and literally dying of thirst. She had no clue what had happened to her family of 3 years. They had moved out 4 days earlier due to foreclosure and she was just left behind. We immediately gave her much needed food and water. We then contacted Mary Springer with Society of Humane Friends, a rescue group, and made arrangements to drop Hope off at the Rescue. Realtors for Pets posted information about Hope in a Real Estate Publication in Cherokee county and the Rescue posted Hope on their web site, and I posted her on mine. Within a week we got Hope adopted and it was all made possible through the quick work and action from the front line realtor who originally found Hope, Realtor for Pets who contacted us, our quick ability to respond and put in the hands of the Society of Humane Friends who got her adopted.
This is how it is supposed to work!
